Default Statute of Limitation After Being Convicted

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Virginia
My husband committed a crime 2 in half years ago. He was charged and sentenced to 13 months. He has served 6 and still has 7 to go. How long before the statue of limitation runs out before they can no longer serve him with a Probation violation. (PB15) Is there a statue of limitation on pb15? Thank you for you help!

Never. He has to serve his sentence.

statute of limitations covers how long they have to charge you, not how long you have to stay "on the DL" after they come looking for you.
