Default Which Shoplifters End Up in the National Retail Theft Database

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana

I've gotten some conflicting information as to how long you're on the National Retail Theft database for. Some say it falls off after 7 years, others say it is on permanently unless the stores in which the theft took place decides to request your removal. Which is it?

The NRTD is seven years. Stores themselves as well as tresspass orders are forever.

Trespass orders can be lifted by writing to the store's Corporate Office asking permission to shop again, and getting a letter back stating the ban is lifted.
