Default Is it Legal to Record a Conversation in Colorado

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado

I'm trying to figure out if its legal to record a conversation between two people. I know someone who is about to take someone to small claims court, and the last time they spoke, she was with someone who had a tape recorder, and recorded their conversation. She now wants to use that recording in small claims court. All of the information I could find was about recording someone electronically, so before she uses this as evidence, she wants to make sure the recording was legal, and if not, delete it. Thanks.

Default Re: Colorado Law Question Regarding Recording a Conversation

A tape recorder is an electronic device. Colorado is a one party state. As long as she was a participant, she may use the recording.
