    Default Sold Stolen Item on Craigslist

    My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: nc
    I bought an kindel on craigslist and resold it for $ 100. Comes out it was lost or stolen. Cant find the person i bought it from, now the new owner wants to turn me in for selling stolen items. Does 100. Realy count,

    yes, $100 does really count. It really doesn't matter how much is involved other than that is what is used to determine the level of crime.

    You better start getting your evidence together. The Craigslist ad, the name of the person you bought it from, etc. You're going to need it.
