My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: ma
i worked for a company for 6 months.i came from a trong union background.i complained to my direct supervisor about being forced to deliver damaged goods, work thru lunch with no pay and put in a truck wwhich they knew had faulty brakes..all my complaints were brushed aside.beginning of sept. i was promised a raise.a month passed and it never came though i asked about it every week.was eventually told they forgot.a month later still no raise.
i called in sick one day and supervisor told me was obvious i did not want to work there.i was stunned and replied i did.he said all i do is complain and my union attitude did not gel with company.i asked is wanting to be paid lunch when i worked it,expecting a raise i was promised or a truck with brakes really having a union attitude?he told me to resign.I refused.so he told me was timeto part ways and to no longer come in.i fild for unemployment.my employer is contesting it claiming i quit.i did not quit nor does he have any signed document from me saying i did.my question is how do i prove to unemployment i did not quit?or will it be just my word against theirs?
