    Your employer can change your schedule.

    If you are being paid less than minimum wage for hours worked, aren't being paid for hours worked, are having your records tampered with, aren't getting your paychecks, etc., make a wage complaint with the local department of the U.S. Department of Labor.

    Florida has no state dol or agency that enforces wage and hour laws. You can file a wage claim/complaint with the federal dol or a small claims court action.

    Your best bet might be a small claims court action. The federal dol will only enforce fed. min. wage for hrs. worked & OT. Fl. has a higher min. wage than federal & you might have even been making more than Fl. min. wage.

    You ARE entitled to be paid for all hours worked, and overtime when you work more than forty hours in a week. Betty has given you the best option for being paid for time already worked.

    You are NOT entitled by law to any particular number of hours per week, or to an explanation of why your hours are being cut.

    You are NOT entitled by law to continue working when you've been told to clock out.
