Default Someone Posted My Phone Number and Facebook and Said to Harass Me

I'm not really sure if this is the right place, but recently someone posted my phone number and facebook page on a site I can't access.

    I know who it is.

someone sent me a screenshot of the post that basically says i'm a terrible person and everyone on the site should harass me.

would reporting him to the police do anything?

btw i live in southern CA.

    thanks for any info

Can you prove who the person is who posted it?

In order for the police to do anything they need at least probable cause.

"I know he's the one who did it" is not probably cause.

he didnt post his name or anything (obviously), but i know it's him because he gave away some info about moving back to his hometown.

he claims i was harassing him to the point of making him want to move back.

That information isn't private to begin with. If someone is threatening you, report it to the police.

You could always change your phone number. Then don't harrass anyone to the point that they feel they need to move ever again.

    Problem solved! NEXT!
