My father and I were both on the title of a primary residence. I was convinced into quit claiming my house to my husband's business partner. Who I am finding out was his lover. They forged my father's signature and had it notarized when my father was not even in the country. They also had me sign an affivant to sign over my rights, which I foolishely did. How can I fight this? This woman has taken out a loan on my property. Every lawyer I ask is saying they either do not want to attempt the case or saying it will be difficult and want to charge me thousands, which I do not have. I decided to report it to the local county appraisers office but where will this get me?
I am running out of time, and desperate to get that property back.
