Thank you for your response. Yes, there was an employment contract that specified termination only with cause. And, yes, I do have legal counsel -- but I've been having a hard time getting a response from him on these questions. I'd like to file follow-up interrogatories but he wants to proceed to trial with just what we have. So that's why I was seeking a second opinion online here.
"The case is in Pennsylvania and the code says money or imprisonment can result from lying in interrogatories."
"That's not going to happen, so just set it aside and move on."
That's what I find surprising -- and distressing... It seems like there's no punishment for lying in interrogatories. Given that, it seems like every defendant would just lie to see if they get caught or not...
