Default Is overtime required for smaller Florida employers

    Hi,
Can anyone confirm for me an overtime law in Florida that exempts employers from being required to pay overtime if the company has under 20 employees (or it may be for under 50 employees)?
    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Default Exemption from Overtime

The only Florida overtime law I'm aware of defines the maximum workday as 10 hours, with work beyond ten hours to be paid at an overtime rate. For the 40 hour workweek, the federal Fair Labor Standards Act requires overtime pay for qualifying employees who work more than 40 hours.
