My question involves employment and labor law for the state of:TX
I accepted a position, which offered health benefits as well as other benefits. The health benefits were listed in the job offer letter and applied immediately upon hire date. The outside benefits were promised in an email. My employer dragged her feet for seven months before finally coming through with health insurance, and has never compensated me for the other benefits. I plan to visit an attorney, but on health benefits alone not being covered like promised, is this a strong enough case? The other benefits through email probably won't be sue-worthy (they amount to approximately 25K).
