My question involves criminal law for the state of:Florida. So the other day i was up at my local skatepark sitting in my car. as my friends started to come up to my car making it look suspicious,i guess some lady behind me called the cops on me for 'drugs' in my car.as the cops roll in,i was just happening to be rolling a blunt in my car. the cop stops behind my parked car,and i get out to act like i was just exhausted. he looks in my car window and immediately sees the blunt at the floor board. he then searches my car,finding a minature gravity bong that i had(it was made out of a water bottle) and not even half a gram of weed that i had in a container. i was never put in handcuffs,yet the cops said technically i was arrested but not booked because theyre misdemeanors. this is my first offense ever,and i was extremely cooperative with the cop. im getting my court date in the mail soon as well,dont know when yet. what are my possible consequences? i am only 16 years old.

Juvenile court, then? Then the possible consequences are anything from a warning to detention until you age out of the juvenile detention system. The rest depends on the facts, your home, school, community and family records, and any prior encounters with law enforcement or the justice system. It sounds like you were turned in for dealing, which is obviously more serious if the authorities have evidence that could make that stick.

you really think i could be in juvie till im 18 for my first offenses?my record is clean and i have good grades..
