Post 17 and Moved Out of My Dads

im 17 and i was currently kicked out/ mutual agreement to leave my fathers house, there was a confrontation with my step mom and her kids.i now live at my girlfriends house with her, her mom, and her dad. all i have is my clothes, can i legally get my TV, XBox 360, iphone, games, movies, and anything else thats mine. i was wondering, am i legally allowed to go get that stuff back from them? they are currently unwilling to cooperate with me and give it to me. i talked to 2 school officers and they both stated that i should go see a constable of my city. im just getting more advice from any resources i can... didnt know where to post this....

All these things you claim are yours, did you pay for them with cash you earned and do you have receipts proving you purchased them?

You aren't divorcing your parents. Please show the courtesy of posting in the appropriate forum (children) and following the instruction to identify your state.

You can attempt to initiate a civil lawsuit for the fair market used value of any items you can prove you own/purchased by showing receipts to the court and being believable to the judge, that they are at dads.

    No negative comments here!

However, it is very commonly said to teens that even if the items are gifted, ultimate possession belongs to the parents.

It's not difficult to find the proper forum. Not even a little bit difficult.

You want to claim that everything at dad's house was a "gift" to you. A gift from whom? From dad?

The first thing you would do is talk to your dad and see what he'll let you take. That may resolve the problem. Let us know how it goes.
