Default New Probation Officer Isn't Following Prior Understanding

My question involves criminal law for the state of: FL

Hello my question is if you have this probation officer that you go and see every tuesday you are not late and you and the probation officer have really good communication, and he told you that if you have work related issues you may go into work early or if u need to be at work earlier you may do so. Before this officer there was another one before handling this case and decide to show up at the house even though he is retired ask where is this person there schedule says 4:30 to leave the house. So i told him that the primary officer told him and it was ok for that person to go to work earlier then the time if needed only for work related, because i think the other officer took a day off and sent that officer out to do that work for that day. I wanted to know if this was right to violate someone for something they never did please help....

    Default Re: a Probation Violation

A retired officer is not going to show up, let aloone violate. He may not be assigned to the case, but it is okay for an officer to spot sheck for another officer if the assigned officer is out for some reason. If there was an arrangement that has not been documented, don't expect the assinged PO to co-sign for that. Cover you ass. Somebody didn't. As a result, there may be valid grounds to violate.

You should of course confirm any arrangement with a new probation officer.

If you were in fact at work, consistent with the understanding, when the probation officer discovered that you were not at home, then you can present documentation that you were at work.
