Default Looking at Websites that Reference Child Pornography

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Massachusetts

Hello, I have a question. I am recently reading articles on child porn busts and stories of people being arrested for this, however, the url's on these websites (all of them are safe, legitimate forums) seem suspicious (one example was forums.govteen.org/teen-2-teen-advice/what-do-if-find-child-pornography-internet). NONE HAVE ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES ON THEM. However, could law enforcement accuse me of being a 'pedophile' because the url has child pornography on it? I am in no way looking for it at all, I am just reading articles and horror stories of people being arrested for it and fbi raids. Thanks.

You're not going to be investigated for reading articles about child porn raids. Use of the words "child porn" is not illegal. Reading about people going to prison for possession of child porn is not illegal.

If you were downloading actual child porn, it would be different entirely. But using the words is fine.

So I'm just being really paranoid? Really the only reason I'm being paranoid is because now my ISP will look at the word 'child porn' in the url title and will report me. Also,ALL of the website are LEGAL and SAFE, also I do not possess it, nor distribute or traffic it.

Yup, pretty much. It's good to be concerned, but you need not fret over simple words. If you're really freaking out about it, clear your browsing history and cache before you close your browser every time. (If you don't know how, tell me what browser you use, and I'll explain it.)

As long as you're not looking at actual pedo porn and you're not in possession of it, you're golden. Chillax, bub.

Nah, I already have CCleaner. 5 months ago some sick pedophile guy on 4chan posted it (did not download/save it or print it), but I reported it a couple days ago (to the ASACP, I didn't know what to do at the time), cleared my cache, rebooted my whole OS. That's why I'm paranoid over the word 'child' and 'porn' now. I am afraid the FBI's going to come over and arrest me. I swear, I am just a kid who gets straight A's and does good in school. I want to get in to a good college and advance in life. I don't want to end up in jail because someone else thought it was funny to post it. I'm in depression and I feel like I want to kill myself. I feel like a sick criminal. I'm literally crying right now. I told my mom, and she told me not to worry about it and that I did the right thing by reporting it. But still. I fell sick to my stomach. I put on a fake smile at school. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?

Kiddo, look, you're freaking out over nothing. Listen to your Mom, she's right.

If I flipped my lid every time child porn showed up on my screen, I'd have to quit my job and have myself committed to the closest nuttery. I do research for a search engine, and sometimes, actual child porn shows up in the data set. Know how we handle it? Report it to our supervisors, report it to the ASACP, clear our browser caches, flush our DNS caches, and restart our computers.

You're fine, you need to chill, you didn't do anything wrong and no one is coming to arrest you.

Okay... thank you, I sort of did get better (our hormones aren't quite there yet). Yeah, I guess the media can scare you quite a bit (as well as manipulating you).
