My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas
Long story short I moved in 2 weeks ago to a new apt. I was having so many problems and the apt people were nt fixing them (like no hot water, now only gets to 107 in kitchen and 100 in bathtub but better than Luke warm) but after 2 weeks of apt manager not getting anything fixed on my apt I went above her. The manager of the apts got so upset when I found online the owners cell phone number and called him (she rushed over and started yelling how did you know he owned these apts? How did you get his number? It was uncalled for, for me to go above her, the apt managers head! Then told me she got in troubenay problems) so in retaliation she called in a welfare check on my children. It said tht she came over and and my chikdren were covered from head to toe in bruises, and they had no food. The cops came out, closed the case (could still get a follow up with cps due to anything with kids sent over there also) but because her allegations were so far from reality that the cops are investagating it as a false police report. I called in the retaliation along with the police case number to owner. But then she came to my door 4 times yesterday trying to get in my house. She even showed up with a camera saying the owner told her to take pics of my electric panel. I called the owner after I refused to allow her in each time, andhe never told her to come to my apt at all yesterday. Saying furthermore that they don't have the right at take pictures of my apt without written consent (ie used pics for the site as a model home etc) is there anything I can do with ths lady? Workers will be coming in on Monday but the owner says that no one should bother me before then at all. I don't know what I did to ths lady besides researching and after about an hr online found the owners name then his linked in account which had his personal cell number. But within 48 hrs everything was fixed. This manager is right on the edge of harassment, and obsession. Not to mention retaliation, abuse of power, and lacking morals. Is there anything legally I can do if she won't leave my family alone? I'm supposed to be able to feel safe in my apts, but her behavior and knowing that she has access to a key to my apt really scares me. Please any advice would be great!!! Owner is willing to cooperate with me/ police (if needed) and would be willing to right up saying he didn't tell her to go to my apt at all yesterday nor did he in any way know she came by each time until I called him.
This is a very scary situation for my family and me anything you can tell me would be great!
I'm in Texas
