    Default Can a Plant Be Patented

    I never knew this, but apperently it's true. A person can actually patent a plant. I guess it makes sense with all the hybrids out there and the seeds they develop for them.

    well, they have been patenting them for decades. You might research the Plant Patent Act of 1930 (that's when they started allowing patents on plants).
