    Default Canadian Criminal Record

I just got my criminal record search back from the police .Back in 1993 I was charged in Ontario with thief under 1000.00 I was given a 50 dollar fine and then the judge suspended the fine I was told i didn't have to pay it because it was suspended but now it shows on my criminal record as a fifty dollar fine. I wanted to apply for a pardon but , I was told if the fine was never paid within 15years I could not get a pardon until 15yrs are up. I don't understand why it shows as 50 dollar fine if the judge suspended it. Can you help me with this.
    Thank You,

Check with the court (or your lawyer from that charge, if you had one and can find him) to see what their records show about your plea deal, and if there was an error try to get the court to correct the record.
