I have 7 mon. left on my Cp13.
My lawyer says I most ask permission from the trusty in order to pay it off early and he wants $700 to file a motion to pay off. He also says I would have to file a motion to sell my home as well, but the trusty may want to audit my account and it is possible for the trusty to cancel out my Cp13 and re-impose my creditors. I am being offered a job with a paid move and my company will buy my house from me, am I in any danger if I do just sell the home to my company so I can move for the promotion? Can I just send the trusty my remaining balance myself and pay it off early with out the motion? I feel that my attorney just wants to get another $700 bucks out of me and is worried he will not get his yearly kick back from my payments to the trusty. I must make a decision soon with my company, as to whether or not I will accept the promotion and move. I know I will not be able to buy a new home until I have the discharge. Miami, Florida
