I was charged with a third degree misdemeanor (attempt to obstruct official business) and was a first time offender. Over a year later I received a ticket for a criminal minor misdemeanor (unnecessary noise, numeration) for which I paid in full and the case was closed. I am in the process of filing papers for getting the original misdemeanor (attempt to obstruct official business) expunged from my record. Will the charge for the minor misdemeanor impact my chances of getting the original misdemeanor expunged from my record? On a side note, I know I have to disclose the original misdemeanor charge to employers before it is expunged, but am I also required to disclose the minor misdemeanor I received for the unnecessary noise?
Both of these charges were in Ohio.
Thank you
