Post Probation Violation Failure to Report

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia
I have to go meet with my probation officer in the morning for an administrative hearing I have not reported since May, yes I know stupid of me I just honestly forgot with my kids being out of school and had a lot going on. I had to do the same thing last year and was supposed to go report once a week I never did so was arrested and had to do 30 days just on the weekends. I'm going in the morning for the same violation I have 3kids is there a chance I will do any jail time? Or maybe house arrest? I can't afford to go to jail and leave my kids. Thx

You should probably take a serious look at your long term child care options. Since you have already violated your probation before, the judge is likely to up the ante over last time. Since serving 30 days in jail on weekends did nothing to motivate you to comply with the conditions of your probation - seeing as you "forgot" your WEEKLY appointments for THREE STRAIGHT MONTHS! - I imagine that you can look forward to an extended and uninterrupted stay at the county facilities this time around. Since jail time has already proven ineffective in improving your memory, I sincerely doubt that house arrest is going to be an option.

You do not say what crime you are on probation for committing, but reinstatement of the full sentence for that crime is a possibility.

No, what you couldn't afford to do is completely blow off your probation requirements and put your kids in a position of losing you for an extended jail stay...but, that ship has sailed. I feel sorry for what the consequences of your irresponsibility will cost your kids...but, maybe it's for the best in the long run
