Look, it's obvious that we don't agree with what you want to do. Our attempts to explain to you how to go about achieving your goal, and yes you have gotten several on-point answers despite the fact that we disagree, have fallen on deaf ears. All this is now is an argument about viewpoints. Why not let it die and focus on your goal instead of poking the various bears?

Astrodude;645267]The recidivism rate has not been recorded strictly for people who lacked mens rea. It's only been recorded for mens rea and non-mens rea offenders together
    . and that is?

You have to realize that when you walk into a jail and ask for whomever is innocent to raise their hand, just about everybody raises their hand.

There's likely NO recidivism for non-mens rea offenders,
you have got to be joking?

    .
A study needs to be done.
so we have found your next duty.

There are ways to determine likely mens rea and likely fraud-victims. If Myspace and Facebook pages were used to lie about the age, if friends and family lied about the age, if witnesses testified to indicate that there was a mistake of age, then there likely was a mistake of age. I know of no study conducted to examine the recidivism rate of specifically non-mens rea offenders whose non-mens rea status has been determined empirically. However, I imagine it's next to nothing FOR SEX-CRIMES. However, they might break other laws due to the stringent nature of the sex-offender registry, sometimes by necessity. There have been sex-offenders who have been literally frozen to death. When the guy dying is like Sandusky, no one sheds a tear, but for a clearly non-mens rea offender, being incidentally frozen to death is a little harsh. It's the mens-rea offenders that have high recidivism.

Most non-mens rea offenders are classified as Level 1 sex-offenders though.

I think my best bet is convincing Lawrence Taylor to lobby for change in the law.

Why would they usually have level 1 classification if they had a high-recidivism rate?

Awareness campaigns and mass protests could help as well. If we could get about 10,000 protesters outside a given state house, it could help speed a bill to the floor.

You do realize that you are the only one here who is remotely interested in protesting, right? Take your suggestions to a group who cares. It isn't us.

NAMBLA maybe? You are funny. You are beating a dead horse to the point of exhaustion. However, you are funny. I can't imagine you as being anything more than bored and trying to rile someone up with this pointless stupidity. However, you entertain so well. But seriously. This whole false cause thing is getting old. Why don't you revamp your argument and try to legalize DUI's or advocate for abolishing drug laws or something. You are so running out of steam on this topic!
