    Default What Happens if the Father Leaves the Country Before Support is Ordered

    My question involves child support in the State of: NY

    Hi,

    I would like to know how easy it would be in the State of New York to name a father by default in case
    the biological father has left.

    The biological fahter of my child abandoned me and he is probably in Spain or Portugal.

    Before I start spending money in Court fees (or will the CSA absorb all the costs?) and service fees
    i want to know if i can be succesful to determine this deadbead dad as father by default.

    I have his email address, previous employer info and previous cell phone #;

    pls advice; many thanks

    wow, wouldn't you know it. We had another poster hear that is considering becoming a deadbeat dad. He currently lives in NY and is talking about fleeing. I would give you a link but I can't find the thread. It seemed to disappear about the same time you registered. If you could find that thread, there is a lot of information that would likely be applicable to your case.
