My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Massachusetts
I have a five year old daughter who has been with her grandparents for 2 years. I have been going through the court to get her back, and they have made it as difficult as possible. I get her for an overnight once a week, which isn't enough, for the next 6 months. When I bring her back she screams for me to take her with me and it breaks my heart! It's supposed to be what is best for her, but her screaming in agony for her mother is not what is best for her. It should have only been 3 months then we go back to court to talk about it instead of 6 months.
If I thought the grandparents would say yes, I would ask them for the whole weekend. My question is: is there anything I can do to revise the court orders so I can get her longer, or shorten the six months to three? Any other advice is welcome also. Thank you
