Default Can You Be Pulled Over on Suspicion of Driving Without Insurance

My question involves insurance law for the state of: Arkansas

Can a police officer stop someone solely for the reason of suspicion of driving without insurance? I guess my question really is, how would they know?

Default Re: Probable Case in a Traffic Stop

The officer could have run the tag and found it indicated the insurance was expired. The belief that the driver was committing a crime is all the officer needs to pull someone over.
