    Default Deleting An Employer's Website

    this is in texas

If somebody logged into their companies web hosting service and deleted their company website? and how quickly would they find out if they got in trouble or not? would the police show up their house same day? or how much time would it take? and what would the charges be?

It's impossible to guess how long the police would take to act, and the law which applies would vary by state. I believe most states would charge that as a felony, with a potential prison term.

That would depend upon the full facts of the incident, and the manner in which the prosecutor chooses to charge the defendant. You can look at the Texas Penal Code here. There is also a possibility that this could be deemed a federal offense, although most incidents of this type seem to be prosecuted locally.
