How Can a Sibling Gain Custody

I am 18 years old. Me and my twin brothers (age 5) have been in cps for 2 years. We were removed from our parents 2 years ago. My brothers are staying with their uncle in Texas. I aged out of care and now live in North Carolina with my fiance. They are terminating my parents rights here in august. Is there anyway I could gain custody of them? And if so what would I have to do? These kids are my life, and I would do anything to have them and take care of them like I already have for years. Please.

If they're in a safe, stable home environment, it's highly unlikely. Placing two five-year-old children with an eighteen-year-old is iffy under the best of circumstances - there's a great deal of responsibility and expense in raising children. Then we have the issue of your being in a new state, outside of the jurisdiction of the Texas court. Frankly, I would expect the judge to commend you on keeping your life together under difficult circumstances and for caring for your younger siblings, but to encourage you to play the part of a normal big brother as opposed to the substitute parent that you were forced to become due to your parents' poor conduct.
