My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Pennsylvania
The owner of the house we rent has given us a 60 vacate notice as he want's to move into the house. I am complying with the notice and will be move out in the middle of August, one day before the 60-day notice expires.
The problem is he has sent me an email wanting me to pay the full rent for the entire month of August even though he initiated the action. Our lease wasn't up until the end of December. I might understand this if I was breaking the lease, but I am not.
I've researched PA landlord- tenant law, but cannot find anything on this.
