    Default Filed Joint I-751, Now Getting Divorce

    hello,
    i am new to this forum.
    i need help.
    me and my wife filed joint i751 on may 2012 ,in order to remove the conditions on my GC. my biometrics appointment was on second week of june, 2012. they stamped my passport for one year Extension as well.
    but now we are going through a situation that she is asking me for Divorce. my GC expires today.
    what should i do now?
    what happens to my application?
    some one help please.

    You applied for the removal of conditions.
    You had your biometrics appointment.

    The next step is one of three things.
    1) You petition to remove conditions will be denied.
    2) You will get your new GC without conditions shortly.
    3) You will be asked to come in for an interview for further questioning and review of your current situation. Result of that interview will be either 1 or 2 above.

    Right now, you probably need to be concentrating on what if 1 or 3. If you are denied all toghether, then you have something seriously wrong with your evidence. If they want to do an interview, you will probably have to detail out the situation where your wife wants a divorce now and I would assume they would see that as a red flag to look more closely at.
