Underage Alcohol Possession

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin/Illinois

I was at a music festival and got cought with alcohol (had not drank any yet). When I called Walworth County today I was told that my license will get suspended in Illinois, but when i recieved the ticket i was told that unless my county calls up to Walworth that noone would know about the ticket unless i didint pay my fine. My question is will my license be suspended in Illinois because of this? Is there anyway to find out if it will? This is also my first ticket ever other then a speeding ticket.

EDIT: I got the ticket in Wisconsin, I live in Illinois
EDIT #2: I was not driving, I was just sitting in a chair outside of the car.

it's possible. Will it happen? Only time will tell.

If they discover your driving privileges are suspended in Wisconsin, they may very well suspend them in Illinois.

Your driving privileges should be suspended in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is not a member of the Interstate drivers license compact so Illinois may not even find out about the suspension...but then again, they might.
