    Default Possession of Alcohol in a Dry County

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: Alabama. My question is this:is it legal under Alabams laws for an adult over 21 years old to possess alcoholic beverages for personal use in a dry county? The alcoholic beverages are not being supplied to,nor accessible by,anyone under the legal drinking age.Also,the beverages were purchased in a wet county in the state of Alabama so all applicable state taxes have been paid.

    It might be considered illegal transport of alcohol under Alabama Code Section 28-4-3 (http://law.onecle.com/alabama/intoxi...ne/28-4-3.html)
