Unhappy Travel While on Pretrial Release

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ontario Canada

My husband was charged with Assaut, he has a document call undertaking given to a peace officer and it says I undertake to remain within the province of Ontario. What that means? Can he travel out of the country?

A bond under which the released criminal defendant "undertake to remain within the province of Ontario" means that the defendant has agreed "to remain within the province of Ontario".

When somebody violates the terms of their bond, they risk being remanded to jail - perhaps until the conclusion of court proceedings.

Beyond that, your question does not deal with U.S. law, so you need to talk to a Canadian lawyer.
