Default Possibility of a Payment Plan for Reinstatement Fees

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: SC

I got 2DUIs & a DUS almost 6 years ago. I've done all the court issued classes & community service.. all I have now is an unpaid ticket & 10 reinstatement fees to pay. Is their anyone to talk to about a possible payment plan to where I can get my license reinstated before paying the fees?

You can make payments I would think but nothing will happen until the bills/fees are paid off.

I don't know of any state that allows reinstatement in advance of the full payment of reinstatement fees.

In this county here in Fl peole are allowed to ask the court to make payments. If you default on those payments they resuspend your licence. It is dont via the clerk of the court. I am unsure of any other states or counties. I do know it can be done here.

The only payment plan is...you pay reinstatement fees in full and you get your license reinstated.

I expect that you're talking about traffic court fines or a judicial suspension of driving privileges as part of the sentence for a traffic infraction or criminal offense.

When the DMV suspends your license, it's an administrative penalty and reinstatement fees are payable to the DMV. The court and DMV are different branches of government (judicial vs. executive) and don't collect fees for each other.
