Default Do You Have to Disclose Welfare Benefits When Seeking Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: california
My husband walked out almost 2years ago he was working out of town and would rarely send money so I got on welfare I get food stamps and medical insurance and they have a program that pay for my child care.when I file the paperwork during divorce for chid support do I have to tell the court or him in my order to show cause that I get these benefits if so will it change how much he has to pay because once I get support I won't qualify and he told me that he would report me for the little money he has given me in the past I currently have a case with child support on him and he only owe 1,000 to the state.or do I have to get off welfare

Yes, you have to report it.

You don't get to "double dip". Besides, they're going to go after him first to reimburse them for you being on welfare.
