    Default shoplifting charges

After being stopped by the store security I didn't want to go to jail or anything like that so I obeyed to whatever they wanted me to do. This was the first time I've even stole anything and for sure the last one. I don't even know why I did done it.
Ok I didn't go to jail and police wasn't involved. The store security took my picture and they told me to sign something. Also, they recorded my driver license number. After all I was told how much do I owe for the confiscated items and I've paid eveything. It seemed like it was over and I was ready to go. However, even after 3 years from the date I did it I feel horrible and I think that everybody around me knows about it.

Is this on my record? If it is how do I expunge it so it won't interfere with my future. I'm only 23 years old and I'll done with college soon. Will it affect me when it comes to job interviews? Is it possible that the information along with the tape could be somehow destroyed so noone could find that such an occurence happened to me??????????

    Thank You for help

    Default Shoplifting Incident

If, as you suggest, there was no police involvement no police report, no arrest, and no prosecution, there is no record to expunge.
