Is there any written law in NJ that states anythingthing about a 16 year old girl becoming emancipated when she is pregnant. I have a friend Lisa, whose daughter is 16 and pregnant. When Lisa takes her daughter to the doctors, she is told that her daughter is to sign the paperwork, because she is emancipated due to pregnancy. And of course her daughter often throws it in her face as well. If she is not emancipated is there anything in writing that I can find for Lisa to show Doctors and others that are insisting she is emancipated? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you Pat
