Default Will Past Felony Charges, No Conviction, Prevent Entry on a Student Visa

I'm an international student, currently in grad school with a F1 visa. I was involved in a lawsuit in 2010, I have never been arrested; however, I was changed on position of stolen property. I hired a lawyer to prove my innocence, and the felony charge was dismissed in 2012. My questions are if I'm leaving the country for a trip, will I have problems If I renew my F1 visa (I changed my I20 since last entrance), and will I have problem when entering the US. I was wondering if the immigration officer will see the felony charge, even there were no arrest and no conviction, will they still refuse my entry. Thank you for any help.

Your charge was dismissed because of what? Your completion of deferred probation? What was the exact charge (state and statute number)? You need to share the relevant information.

Thank you answering my question Mr. Knowitall. Yes, my case was dismissed because of deferred probation. The charge was PC 496(A) in California, I had no idea the item was stolen, and I paid full retail price for the item. Please let me know if you need more information. Thank you for your help.
