Good day,
My mother wants to visit my sister, who's a permanent resident in the U.S. and married to a U.S. citizen. My sister is pregnant now and my mother wants to be by her side when she gives birth. But my mom got rejected once about 4-5 years ago, when she applied for a tourist visa. At that time she was divorced, I - her son - lived in a different country. Since then she got married again to my dad, and I returned to my home country. But she's still unemployed.
Could you advise, what steps should be taken to strengthen her application? I can provide her with about $10.000 on her bank account, if that plays any role. She wants to apply for a six months stay in the U.S.
Are there any chances that she'll get the visa, or previous rejection and current unemployment will ruin her application?
Please, advise. Thank you!
