My girlfriend and I are having a discusion and I hope one of you can answer this. We have a bet on who will win, the looser will have to pay for dinner!
My girl have a cousin who is to marry this guy that entered the US illegaly using a fake name (not his birth or realname). After a few years or so, he divorced his wife who was living in another country using his real/birth name. The divorce was granted and now is about to marry my girl's cousin. He is still using the fake name but will marry my girl's cousin using his real name.
We want to know if the guys divorce is legal? Does the illegal status have anything to do with residency requirements? If this will have any future problems with my girl's cousin, shall we tell her about it?
My answer is yes its legal. My girl says no because he is living in the US under a diffrent name, and filed for divorce under another name.
Which of us have to bring our wallet to dinner tonight?
