you edited your post and now tell me I am wrong when I mentioned what your original post said.

We can't predict the future. I will say that missing numerous mandatory meetings and appointments will not garner leniency.
Ya' know, I only created this account to ask this simple question. Didn't even know I could edit a post.. So you may have read it wrong? I know I could've possibly worded it better. I apologize. Now, there were NO mandatory meetings, other than the DAE classes I had completed. The community service was just an alternative to paying monies owed after I had lost my job. I've just missed quite a bit of them due to morning hospital/treatment appointments for my father that usually landed on the day of the week my local community service was held.

Rather than arguing, why don't we stick with your original basis for creating an account. You did not do what was required. You had choices and you made them. As a result, you have put yourself in a hole. You couldn't pay fees and rather than pay them, you chose community service. You failed to complete that s well. Your trolling comment was unecessary. Your attitude exudes the type of persona that makes you a very viable candidate to fail at probation. If you have presented this typr of cynicism and candor to your officer, I can easily understand why you have been violated numerous times.

It seems that rather than trying to find a way to balance personal and probation responsibilities, you'd rather get angry and defensive. As a result, you have chosen to be counterproductive and will probably go to jail as a result. Court's in two days and you ain't got it done bro.

Well, what a cool story! You definitely read me. But in all seriousness, I went to court & nothing was done other than me acquiring a new court date. That was at my request due to my probation officer being on vacation. (He had wanted my probation extended by a year, and to add substance abuse counseling/testing (that'snotgonnahappenbecauseIneedmydrugs!(unrelate dd))). But I'd just like to thank everyone who thought they knew what they were talking about! It shows the blatant ignorance we have in even the people who claim to be "experts" in their field. I hope you all feel stupid, and implore you to find something better to do. Like anything, because law is definitely not that "something".
P.S. - I hope you all get eaten by rabid deers!

A new court date is simply delaying the inevitable. You could draw a sympathetic judge who gives you an extension on your probation or a hanging judge that tosses you into jail for the maximum time allowed by law. A lot of it is going to come down to what, if anything, you did to mitigate your situation. Did you speak to your PO, or the community service coordinator, about making arrangements to do your CS at another time? Did you speak to your PO about the problems your father was experiencing to try and make other arrangements?

As for saying substance abuse counseling/testing isn't going to happen, you are quite mistaken. Given the reason you are in this predicament, I'd say it's pretty much guaranteed.

Your attitude, and comments such as the one about the substance abuse issue, are the reason people are speaking to you as they are and accusing you of trolling. Your attitude appears incredibly over-the-top for your average Joe/Jane. I'm not ruling out the possibility that you are, in fact, this boisterous in real life. People here react to what you write and the tone it conveys. And yes, many of these people are experts in their fields with more experience than you could ever dream of. At least one person works in the probation/parole field.
