State: Virginia

Two years ago my husband and his ex-wife reached an agreement prior to litigation regarding a schedule change and support increase. Since then, anytime they don't see eye-to-eye on an issue, she says she can take him back to court and "get the amount due her". I know in Virginia there has to be a material change in circumstance, and nothing has changed, so I'm assuming she has no legal standing, right?

Also, is there a time limit to how long she can submit a bill for reimbursement (the agreement doesn't stipulate a timeframe)? She gave us a bill that was 3 months old. We have told her we need the bills within 30 days, she says she can submit them however far down the road she wants and we must reimburse. If we end up in court over the support increase, I would think a judge would put some sort of time limit, like 30 days. Is this correct?

Thank you for your responses.
