My question involves criminal law for the state of: South Carolina.

My finance was arrested two days ago on a violation of probation and 9 counts of failure to appear. He was not informed by his current bondsman that there were even warrants for his arrest. On the violation of probation they set a 3000 dollar bond. Which i can post in full today. They haven't set a bond in the failure to appear charges and from what I heard aren't going to. Could I call the probation office and them work with me on getting him out? If not, what should I do?

The most disappointing thing about this is you quesstion of "what should I do/" What do you think you should do? Should you post his bond? Well, you already did. Should you run for te hills? You know you won't. Should you let him man up and try to be the man he's supposed to be? You should, but you probably won't. Soon, you'll be on this other website I know of complaining about how the system is keeping your man down.

What you should do is NOTHING! What do you really think you can do with this?!? He's making choices that you can't and will not control.
