Hello, my name is Nick and I really would appreciate some help.
My friend has been to the USA on a J1 visa as an au pair that ended this past September. After that, she received a visitor visa in November and returned back to the USA in December and left in February.
She wanted to check out a few colleges in the USA(24 years old she is) and see if she could find one she liked for her so she could complete a degree in Physical Therapy. So she came back to the USA on April 27th and recently found a school she likes a lot and applied.
She received her I-20 from the school, showed all of the financial documents from her sponsor, etc.
She has never been in any trouble in the USA, never over stayed, IMO a great candidate to receive a F1 visa(as she already has a b1 visa good for 10 years) she is also from Brasil, not that it means anything
A few questions though for her interview, if they ask why a sponsor would pay for college, what would be a good answer? She will tell the truth no matter what, but will they really believe her if she says that he parents are going to pay her sponsor back?
Also, what are her chances of receiving an F1 visa? I think they are great based on she has all of the documents she could ever need, has never been in any trouble or overstayed, and has a tourist visa already.
When she is finished college(community then transfer to under grad) she has a job lined up as a physical therapist at her cousins clinic in Brasil, she really has no interest in staying, but it looks great to employers for brasilians if they have degrees from the USA.
I'm sorry for the long post, but please advise. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Kindest Regards,
Nick
