    You can close this thread not I got creative and called the courthouse and asked what the status on my paper work was. The judge signed off on it so that means I am off.

    Thanks Mr.Knowitall for the response, even though I was not asking if it was ok for me to drink was asking if I was technically off probation. But I appreciate the response.

    There's nothing "technical" about discharge from probation. Until the order of discharge is signed, you're on probation. Afterward you're off. No gray area.
