My question involves a marriage in the state of: Florida.
My wife and I have been separated now for almost 17 months. After a year of refusing to come to the table to discuss divorce proceedings she agreed to work with me on a consensual divorce that would be filled out using Legalzoom.com. I purchased the program and filled out all of my information. Now she refuses to submit her information, even after months of requests to complete her share. We share no property, save for our 4 year old child, we have a child custody agreement between us and I pay child support.
The complication is that my girlfriend of over a year is 7 weeks pregnant. I need to hurry this divorce along so I can focus all of my attention on the arrival of our baby. How can I encourage her to fill out the required information to enable me to file for our divorce? And if she refuses to comply, is it worth investing thousands of dollars in legal help, money that should be going to my 4 year old and my new child. Also, does the pregnancy over complicate the matter?
