My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado

I was convicted of felony drug charges in 2004. The 2004 conviction aggravated a similar felony in 2003 and 2000.

I have discharged my DOC sentence and parole (2011).

Two employers discovered my court records in 2012. Both companies withdrew offers they made to me as a software engineer. The checks stated 7 years. When does the 7 years begin? Conviction? Discharge?

Am I a candidate for expunction? Record sealing?

When can I become a whole person with rights to pursue the dream?

You are not likely going to be given an expunged record for 3 felonies.

Even if you're talking about a criminal conviction on a credit report, the only state I'm aware of that limits the amount of time the conviction can appear is California. It's not normal credit information. Beyond that, it's up to whatever company your prospective employers are using.

When you have multiple felony drug convictions, you're not a candidate for expungement.

It is my understanding that Colorado has no provisions for expunging an adult criminal conviction.

Once it has been more than ten years since you completed your sentence you may qualify for a pardon - although pardons are reportedly rarely issued in Colorado.
