    Question Multiple State Reinstatement Fees

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Massachusetts

I was issued a license by Mass. I lost my license in SC for possession of a controlled substance. My license was suspended for 6 months, and i paid all associated court costs.
    I moved to Florida.
Florida is now telling me that i have a hold on the national system from Mass.
Mass is telling me i have hold in the national system from SC.
SC is telling me i need to pay a $100 reinstatement fee.
Mass says that once i clear SC, i have to pay them a $100 reinstatement fee.
Florida says once i clear Mass, i have to pay them a $100 reinstatement fee.

I feel like i am getting conned here... I only had a suspension in 1 state, and only had a license from 1 state...

Thanks for your help in advance, folks. Have a great day!

You appear to be stating that you applied for and received a license in Florida, but because you had unresolved out-of-state suspensions that license was subsequently suspended.

If that's what you're saying, yes, now you get to jump through the hoops necessary to reinstate your license in every state in which your driving privileges were suspended, and pay any required reinstatement fee in those states.

When the Massachusetts Registry learns of the out of state drug conviction, the RMV will suspend your Massachusetts license for the conviction. This is because the law states that when a Mass. resident or license holder is convicted of a crime in another state or jurisdiction, the Registry must treat the offense as if it had occurred in Massachusetts. The Registry doesn’t tell you this initially.
