My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin
I'm "in the know" so to speak about the requirements to be released early from probation in Wisconsin. I have served 3/4 of my probation time, I have paid all of my fines and am up to date on my sup. fees. My question is how long does the process of early release take. I have asked my P.O and she has said that she has to send it to her supervisor and her supervisor then sends it to their supervisor who intern sends it to the judge and the process was already started toward the beginning of this month. I know its not set in stone as it's whenever the judge sees/reviews the information and however long it takes to get to him prior to him reviewing it ... but I would like a rough estimate of how long the average process usually takes start to finish for the early release from probation.

Thanks, Josh
