    Default Shoplifting with fraudulent coupons

    im 17 and copied 20 doller couponds and was caught using (according to them) 2,000 dollers worth given half out to other people. what am i looking at.

    You are looking at criminal charges. What those charges would be, and whether you would be charged as an adult or minor, depend upon the full facts, laws of your state, and prosecutor's policies.

    ok here is what im saying i have worked there for almost one year, 2 other people were lead out in handcuffs (i was lucky) and all i heard was what people say nobody of management said a thing(and he stole 60 bucks in cash) and now i just found out that they told everyone about me and i am tick off because now all my friends know(i know they would have found out BUT FROM ME) and isnt this againt my rights or something a confidentiality law my dad said we were going to look into this but i just wanna see what u guys say!!!

    If you haven't quit your job, I would...

    They might just forget about it - or you could wait it out. Also, don't sign any papers that management puts in front of you. Don't speak without proper representation. If you feel threatened or harrased, request a lawyer. You can leave anytime you want.

    Management will tell you to make it easy on yourself by confessing. That could possibly be the worst thing you could ever do. Even if you are guilty, by verbally confessing or signing a confession statement, a promisary note, or an admission of guilt, you have sealed your own coffin.

    Management, LP and the police will lie to you in order to get you to confess.

    If you are guilty, get legal representation and go from there.

    Default Procicuters office (i cant spell forgive me)

    i was caught copying coupons and the store said if i pay the money they wont press charges but they has alredy turn me over to the police will they back down if they arnt pressing charges
