Default Impact of Employer Fraud on an Employment Contract

    I'm an Illinois resident.

Hypothetically speaking, if an employer asks/demands that an employee
participate in potential fraud to benefit the company, have they voided the employment agreement which was in place?

A: Hypothetically speaking, there is a 50-50 chance, more or less.

Hypothetically speaking, what type of contract or contract provision is the theoretical employee hoping to avoid? What type of theoretical fraudulent activity is involved?
